mimi me question

Default mimi me question

i have a few questions about doing a mini-me swap on my civic lx. first which year car should i get the v-tec head from secondly can i use the distributor that is on my car now, and it is hard for me to find a v-tec ecu in the junkyards over her but i do have a integra GS-R ecu can i use that insted.

first what year car is yours? if you have a 92-95 then use a z6 heaad and dizzy, because they are obd1 and from 92-95.

you could use a p06 ecu, but it would need to be chipped to run a p28 program. i don't think a gsr ecu would be your best choice because it still needs to be chipped.

get a z6 head and you'll have to get a vtec ecu too. unless you chip it but it really doesn't cost much for a used ecu... and if i'm not wrong, as long as your distributor is obd1, you're fine.
