you dont have to chip it.

Y8 head around $125 to $150
ECU around $80
Intake manifold around $100
Converting your harness around $10 if you do it yourself.

Around a total of $350 to $400 depending on the deals you run across, also remember to get a 99/00 Y8 ecu because if you get a 96-98 one you will need a obd2b to obd2a conversion harness.

around 25 but the cool thing is if you decide to add a aftermarket cam, valve terrain, and maybe a lighter flywheel(12ish lbs). Throw in a 50 to 75 shot wet kit and you are making good hp for a civic for around $1000
