You want to turbo your D16 so that you can keep up with a stock B18, B20 and stuff like that. Keep up ina drag race, keep up in a race course, keep up while illegally street racing?
There are a lot of factors involved. You can try to push the envelope and squeeze out as much horsepower and torque out of your D16, but you need to think ahead of what you need so you don't get log-jammed. You'll want to rebuild the cylinder head with race parts, rebuild the block with race parts along with machining the block, upgrade fuel pump/fuel pressure regulator/fuel rail/injectors, upgrade clutch, upgrade hubswith 5 bolt wheels and brakes, upgrade cv axles, install Greddy e-manage or some kind of turbo engine management system, get it on a dyno, intake manifold, header, blah blah blah, etc.
It's a lot of cash, even if you do it yourself.
