i have an 04 lx sedan (non v-tec). i am looking for a d17a2 head to get the v-tec. i am sure that i will pick one up at a junkyard. if i do what would i need to replace on the head other than cams, valves and springs assuming the head will be old and beat?

and what else would i need along with the head? solenoid? is the ecu nessecary?

almost positive you'll need a new ECU and if you're getting the head from a junk yard make sure you grab the solenoid...

there are tons of threads on this subject, try searching for "mini me" (not sure if any have been done on an '04 though)
