mini me swap

i hear a d16y7 block and a d16y8 head is alot better than just a full d16y8 block.
tell me if so because i've never studied up on it to much.

if it's not that much better, than i'm not even going to bother and save myself the hassle.

it's about the same. you get higher compression with the mini-me (y8 head on a y7 block) than just a plain y8, but HP is about the same because of the lower amount of displacement in the mini-me compromises the higher compression.

if you already have a y8 then doing a mini-me is pointless.
