Ok I cant decide wich to go with. Im thinking of either doing a mini me with a Y8 and a manual EX tranny or swapping in an entire Z6 engine and the manual ex tranny. Which would be more dependable and what would need to be done with the ecu's? Isnt the 96-00 EX ecu untunable? I am going to be boosting the motor rebuild w/e i get with eagle rods and vitara pistons whether i stick with the Y7 block orgo with theentire z6 engine. With either one i will be getting the akmee valvetrain kit. So which one should i go with: Y8 mini me or Z6 engine? Either way i want a manual tranny from a 96-00ex so how hard would it be to mate the EX tranny with the Z6 engine? My main concern is what would i do w/ the ecu's?
