Default RE: mixing with lucas engine oil

the oil additives work good... i always recomend using a oil additive. it saved my old towncars motor when the oil pump shaft spun like a pretzil and snaped inhalf.... i still drove the car fror another 2 miles at 65mph till the lifters started to make noise and i cut it off and coasted into my work. and got it towed home after work, swaped in a new oil pump and it still ran great after the lifters got pumped back up. very nice!

The Heavy Duty Lucas is too thick for your engine especially if it has variable valve timing. Lucas makes a thinner low viscosity oil treatment but in my opinion just use a good quality synthetic and change the oil filter to a WIX and don’t go over 5,000 miles between oil changes.
