Which model has the 160HP engine?
 

I'm going to purchase a Civic and I was wondering if someone can confirm this info. The 2000 and under Si model has a 1.6L and 160HP, the 2001 and up SiG has a 1.7L with 135HP, and the 2001 and up SiR has a 2.0L with 160HP.
If so, I want to purchase a 1999 or 2000 Si model.

92-95 del sol vtec and 99-00 civic si both have the b16 and around 160ish hp

yeah...Si's are a bitch to find, ive only found one and it was in like...new mexico or something. seeing as how im in michigan that was out of the picture. the del sol shouldnt b too hard to find tho...theres three or four running around my town, which isnt all that big

i didnt know the del sols came with a b16...i thought the del sol vtecs where d16z6

u know...an Si is a good 4-5 grand more than an EX or a DX on a used lot, and theyre a bitchload harder to find, just get an EX and put a bigger engine yourself, it'll save 1-2k, then put that towards a Crower or JUN stroker kit (which usually cost 2, 2.5 grand) it will b about the same price (maybe 500 more) as an SI and will smoke any stock one you'll come across on the streets
