Default More Power

When it come to civics i pretty much know just what i call basics for performance like header, intake, mufler, turbo. What else can i do that would give me some power that isn't as big as turbo and swaping my engine. I like to keep the engine original just want to modify it. Im not to familiar with all the terms in mechanic so be specific.

build the internals, high compression pistons, intake manifold/tb, porting and polishing, then a tune

or spray (n2o), but gotta know what you're doing and tune for that too

A full cat-back exhuast instead of just the muffler... lol. I'd also do a short shifter and suspension, you're not going to get very impressive numbers out of a d15-d16 without spending a lot of money or going with forced induction...
