motor swap

im looking to do a motor swap but not sure whether to do a h22, f20, or a b16a2. which is a better bang for my buck? also i have been reading a lil and i have read that the f20 is a tight fit. so is it possible to do any in my 98 civic coupe? if so what would you recomend?
thanks james

RE: motor swap

I say go with the h22 because the f20 is going to be a really tight fit that it is going to be a pain in the arse to work on when something breaks in the future and the b16 just is overpriced.

What are your plans for the car? Do you want to boost in the future or stay all motor? H22 and F20 are the same size in the engine bay both will be tight but thats not really a huge problem. B16 is a nice engine, but much too costly for 170hp and 116 tq. For the same or cheaper you can buy an H22 with 200hp and 160 tq. But if you want a B series with nice numbers, look into a GSR (B18C)
