motor weight
 
i just bought a d15b vtec motor and i am getting it delivered to my house , and trying to figure out how much itweight and if me and my brother can carry it

It's going to be a few hundred lbs with the transmission and everything... get a third person to help you carry it and you should be good.

you and your brother should be ok, if it helps put the engine on a piece of wood over an car jack and roll it around, thats what i did when i brought my y7 home and got it into the garage from the trailer

but two people should be able to carry a block no problem... and congrats on the d15 ;)

it only took me and another guy to pick up a d series engine and tranny together so you should be fine.

ok i recieved motor today i didnt have to pick it up my little big brother he just hulked it by his self.

the replacement d15b vtec i origanally had the d16/ what i am trying to figure out is what timing belt do i use could i use the same one as the d16, and could i use my distributer off of my d16 are basiclly all the parts the same[/align]
