to much vtec?

i was woundering, i have recently downloaded hondata on my LT ,and if i do the street tune reflash its going to take my vtec mode down around 2200rpms. in which i would always have it ingauged right. so my question is , is that bad for the motor or will it wear that rocker out or anything?

its pointless to have vtec then!
the whole point of vtec is to have good gasmileage and performance! just use a huge cam and go nonvtec!
