Default My swap is finished!!!

Just finished my sir 2 B16 swap into my ex! It started the first crank I gave it and runs great! I do have a check engine light though, and my scanner wont read obd1. It runs strong and vtec engages. I was surprised that it engages at 5900 instead of 5500 like I though it would. Must be different than the USDM B16? If you ask me it was well worth it! A great improvement over the D16.

No pics yet, but plan on taking some soon. As far as wiring goes, you have to swap the dizzy connector for the double one found on the b16 harness, swap the intake air temp plug and lenghten it. Lengthen vtec plugs. Either swap injector plugs or the injectors themselves. Both d and b series injectors are 240cc.

Oh, also the alternator plugs are different, so you have to swap that one as well. Some of the wire colors are different, so I suggest finding a wiring diagram for you vehicle and the vehicle the b16 came out of.
