N/A help
I have an intake headers & exhaust car. I dont really have the cash to go big on a turbo. I'd only be able to run like 6 lbs of boost with my motor as is. Does any one have any ideas or thigs they've done to gain some extra hp here and there?

Well, for a couple hundred, you might be able to swap out your cam with something with a little bit more of an aggressive profile. It'll gain you some power right off the line, and it'll increase the gain you'll get from other mods (ie, intake, throttle body, intake manifold, exhaust manifold, exhaust). Just be aware a larger, more aggressive, cam will most likely shift your power-band higher in the rev range, sometimes past the stock rev-limit. To maintain reliability, you'll want stronger valve springs to avoid valve float. All said and done, you're looking at around $600-$700 for the cam and supporting mods.
And a bare-bones turbo setup can be pieced together for anywhere from around $2,000 and up; it all depends on your power goals and what you want out of the setup.

if u add cam(s), expect to sacrifice some driveability. my engine is garbage @ idle. i think intake manifold and throttle body is a good idea. shouldnt really cause any undesireable stress on ur engine, but dont expect a night and day difference in acceleration either...
