Default need help......

i have a 2000 honda civic si (canadian version d16y8 engine) and i found a B18C-R in a junked car in the junk yard for really cheap i was wondering if that engine would fit in my car? should i swap? can i swap?

Yes you can swap that into your car I believe. What condition is the engine in? How much did you pay for it? And make sure it runs fine before going through the hassel of install it into your car.

yes you can do it...but it might be a little harder to do it in canada than in the states. is there an SiR EK up there? if there is you need the rear mount out of that. if not, then you might need to work your way down to the states and get a rear mount out of one of our SIs....or suck it up and spend a few hundred on aftermarket mounts.

yea canada really sux for aftermarket parts ...... especially where i am ........ and i picked up the engine for 1500 i dont think the guy new anything about the car or engine ..... it only has 33k on it .... apparently it was wrecked in a street race ..... and it only the side and back of tha car that is damaged

Well I guess the engines been driven hard then if it was in a street race. But with only 33k clicks it shouldn't be bad at all. BTW I don't find Canada bad for aftermarket parts at all. You just have to know where to look or who to ask and if you have an Internet connection it doesn't matter if you live in Canada or anywhere in the world.. except for a little added cost in shipping here and there .
