Default NEED HELP Badly This is a nightmare

i have a B16 engine and i was riding down my block and my car shut off. I tried to start it but it cranks but doesnt turn over. theres no spark coming out of the distributor so i changed the whole distributor checked the timing, checked the fuses, checked the ECU, the plugs, the wires everything and i still have the same problem. the fuel components are fine it's just that theres no spark. It's been like this for like a month already NEED HElP dont kno wut to do anymore

TRY CHANGING YOUR ALTERNATER, SAME THING HAPPENED TO ME. MY ALT ROTER GOT OFF-CENTER AND GROUND OFF ALL THE POINTS.

yeah it would. once the battery didnt have enough juice to fire the ignition or run the EFI, it would die. but you would notice it losing a ton of power for a minute or two.

nightrider, where do you live?

right. This happened to my old camry for a while. You'd see your lights begin to dim, stereo would get progressivly quieter, and just an all around feeling of power loss. Its a ****ty feeling

he really didn't mention that it wouldn't turn over (dead battery)
but it cranks but doesnt turn over
So I'd move on to spark
theres no spark coming out of the distributor
Check the dizzy, coil and ignighter. You need spark before you can go any further.

if the alternator went, then that would mean ur battery isnt charged very much. Test that, if the batterys dead, then it could be the ALT..............dead battery= no sparks period
