New to civics.Advice?
Heres what im thinking, please someone correct me if one of thease options are not possible or something:
BBK Throttle Body
The Stiffy Engine Torque Damper
Edelbrock High Performance In-Tank Fuel pump
Skunk2 Racing pro2 seriesCamshaft
some sort of clutch kit?
some sort of short shifter?
DC sports creamic Performance headers
and thats it for under the hood that iwould like to get sofar...
but is all of that possible to be hooked up to a 1.6 manual 97 dx?
some one please help me out.

Turbo! Turbo cars rock. Everyday driving, you still have the economy of a small engine. Stomp on it, and,(wait for it) -- turbo!
A lot of what you can do depends on whether it must pass a smog check, and what they do for the check.
Don't waste your money on a fuel pump upgrade.

What are your horsepower goals? You can put all the stuff you mentioned on your car but your not going to get much that power from it. Going turbo is the best bang for your buck. Check out the stickies in the turbo section to learn more about forced induction.
with it being your daily driver it is hard to do alot of modifications to get good horsepower out of a N/A car...If you could do with your car being down for a week I would look into boreing the block and getting a good set of pistons and rods...also look into machining the heads to better air flow.
Ok, thanks alot guys. I think ima just go turbo with my car.But before i go turbo, is there any small or big parts i should grab? Or can i just drop a turbo in it? Mabey a stupid question, i dont know, help me out?

Ok soI figuredI give you guys some what of a update because im unsure of my next upgrade andI am hoping for some suggestions.

Dude, if money is not a problem then seriously just swap your motor. A dx motor isn't going to get you going fast unless you turbo it. You could do a b16a2, b18b1, or b20b swap for less than 2k if you go to the right places. If you must insist on keeping that motor, you should look into a mini me swap (putting a vtec head on your non vtec block). This will improve your car drastically, trust me you'd be amazed at the difference when that vtec kicks in. After you do the mini me swap your other parts should also be more effective. don't bother building a dx motor unless your going to boost it, trust me, you'll just dump way more money into it than it's worth
Check ebay or a junk yard. Any D16 head will fit your motor (z6 or y8 are vtec heads) or if you can somehow find a JDM d15b head it would work too. If I were you I would go straight to www.craigslist.org and search in your area for HONDA auto parts, you'd be surprised at the stuff you could find. Good luck bro, trust me you'll love your carwith thatnew head!
