new engine?

i have a 1991 4 dr civic dx and the current engine ( D15B2) has about 300k on it and i was wondering what type of engine i could replace it with. But somthing not too exspensive.

D16z6.. sohc vtec from 92-95 ex... not sure how much but it isnt that much...
