First off, I don't own a civic. I have a friend who is looking to put a new motor in a civic that was owned by one of our best friends who just recently passed away. we're going to do the car the exact way he would've wanted it. he has the opportunity to get a d15b7 head, and needs to know if it will go on an american motor. just let me know. thanks

an american motor.. hmmm I don't recall there being a honda motor that went by that term do you mean a d16 block of some sort.

meaning NOT a JDM motor...

and FYI the d15b7 JDM motor is a v-tec motor...

he was wanting to know if the JDM head for the d15b7 will fit a USDM 1.5 or 1.6 motor.

i have a d15b7 and um, its not a vtec boss. I clearly said usdm isnt vtec
