New to the Hondas.

Ok, so first off, let me explain a few things so everyone knows where I stand amidst the aftermarket scene. I've worked on aftermarket cars before, mostly muscle and Euro, not soo much JDM / DSM. Lately tho ( after being in the VW scene for about a year ) I've concluded that VW doesn't put out much power hungry cars, the FSI 2.0t isnt amazing and has more boost problems then a math book, and the R32, new age VR6 is pretty much at its wits end on power gains, so the VW crew has adopted the FOrm > Function ideals. I am always looking for more power, I believe in making my car look nice, but I want the looks to compliment the power, not the other way around. After doing research, I see that Honda made more different types of engines then my girl has underwear, and I keep hearing about swaps, B20 > B18 > B16, etc etc etc. I just honestly wanna know more about the engines, I've seen videos of Hondas eating cars for breakfest, and I've seen a stock VW eat a stacked Civic alive, I've read about the S2000 with the K2JZ swap ( I know thats a Toyota engine, but you catch my drift ). Anyways, I just wanna know whats what, before I go to basic, because when I get out I plan on building a car from nothing.
