what other ways can you increse hp instead of intake, exhuast and headers


legal ways......

 

turbo's, cams, lite weight flywheel and under drive pulley's, upgrade fuel injectors, bigger throttle body, ecu chipped and tuned, pistons, block work
(bore out the cylinders), head work( shave it, port/polish)
upgrade spark(msd), if you have a nonvtec engine putting a vtec head on it,
theres alot of different things you can do.

 

since im working with a budget which one would be the cheaper thing to do..


and its a non v-tech motor

 

well the best one would be to get a vtec head and a vtec ecu and vtec dizzy and put it on your block, what yr is your civic again?

o well you have the 1.7, hmmm well there isnt much for mods for your car, you can probably just upgrade cams and a few other bolt on stuff if you can find them,
your cars engine is kind of an odd ball, the only real swap they hae for your car is the k20 engine and thats alot of money.

aaa..ya i want to swap for a k20 but that later in life...so bascailly small stuff for my car..

with the axle back hks exhuast what else do you need to buy take all the stock pipe off???
