Default New lifters with a Stage 2 cam

Is it absolutely necessary to get new valve lifters when I install the Stage 2 N/A camshaft. I've been looking around for performance lifters for a 7th gen and can't seem to find anything. Also if anyone knows if there are compatible lifters from a different engine that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

I would say yes, neccessary. I dont know where you could find your parts, but to me it would make sence, that if they make the stage II cam, they should also make the lifters as well. Check ebay, search yahoo, spend a few good hours at it.

IMO Sprtings and retainers are all you really need...
