NEW MEMBER NEEDS HELP WITH ENGINE SUGGESTIONS

Hey wassup guys....I have been a Civic hatchback owner all my life. I currently own a 95' Civic HB Si(black, 140,000 miles) that i have had for four years. Its all stock, never modded in any way. I just purchased a 06 Infiniti G35 coupe 6mt, and i have kept the Civic for going back and forth to work. I am lookin to finally buy a better engine for the Civic. I have NO kind of tuner skills, so i want to know what kind of engine should i purchase?? My budget is going to be no more than $3000. I dont want to hurt the reliability of the car. I have also been searching for speed shops in NJ that specialize in Hondas, but have had no luck.....I need GOOD advice. I want to keep the hatch forever. Remember i dont know the difference from the B16-B18 blah blah wuteva, so please explain how much power is in each engine, and which is a better and easy fit for my car...THANX

B18C1

Came in a GSR Integra and is about you best bet for the amount of money you have to spend. Get on ebay and search for B18C1 swap.

Yea, thats a good choice to go with. By the way, since you DID ask...
https://www.hondacivicforum.com/m_131941/tm.htm has a list of engines in hondas.
B18C1 1.8L USDM DOHC VTEC 94+ Integra GS-R 170hp are the specs on the GSR.
https://www.hondacivicforum.com/m_1156/tm.htm also has engine info, showing the GSR as having...
code disp valves cam vtech fuel delivery cc's hp tq year model
B18C1 1.8 16V DOHC VTEC PGM-FI 1797 170hp@7600rpm 128tq@6200rpm 94-01 Integra GS-R
Hope that helps ^_^

::Edit::
One last thing:
https://www.hondacivicforum.com/m_10612/tm.htm In this link, sacicons tells us that:
B18c1- great torque, great HP. good all-around motor. takes to mods very well. compared to the b16, its everything the 1.6 isnt. good throttle response, good low end torque. high compression though. keep boost low. even with low boost, some impressive numbers should be possible. has different cylinder head design than the other b-series vtecs. has dual runner intake system, which switchs runner length with rpm. wasnt as great as everyone thought it would be. has higher compression than other B-heads, due to large quench pads in combution chamber. these also help fend off detonation, but that might be too advanced for this post, so ill leave it at that. only drawback is cost. swaps go for about 50% more than a b16 swap.
