Well im picking up a B18 non Vtec LS Motor this friday for 600 dollars. Ill let you guys know how it goes and will post pics soon. Im going to build it for boost and hopefully get it all in w/o the turbo by November. Then Turbo by next Feb.

scratch that, i work with this kid who has a 500whp CRX and he knows this guy who can get me a 98 LS motor, transmission, front suspension, f/r brakes and axles for a thousand.

I found it just buy calling up local salvage yards, this guy has this LS motor sitting in his basement, he was going to do something with it, now he wants to sell it. Im going to build it anyway, so its not a big deal if it doesnt run. It wont go into the car until its ready.

yes sir. I dont want a track car like my friends. He has a fully built motor on a JDM Si-R block with a t3/t4 turbo and hes making roughly 460whp. When he takes it on the street he tunes it down to 270ish for street use. I mean its a SCARY *** car. No interior 88 CRX with 460whp. Its INTENSE lol.

My set up is going to be safe and reliable. Im going to want a low boost setting of around 280ish whp and a higher boost setting around 360ish.

 

booooo hybrid in a srt-4 drivetrain lol have fun with the swap. sounds like you have realistic goals instead of most that want the most.
