new pistons?

K lets get this out of the way first.

10 psi means nothing when not being paired up with a turbo. 10 psi on a small t25 turbo on a z6 will net ~200 hp... 10 psi on gt35 turbo on a z6 will make close to 300 hp. Different size turbos put out different power depending on the psi, 10 psi from a small turbo is different from 10 psi from a big ass turbo.

So now that that is sorted out. What is your power goal? My assumption isn you'd run a small t3/t4. A stock z6 is good up to about 200 hp, maybe 220, before you start needing it to be built. The main weak point is the rods, so if you plan on going for more than 200 hp look in to a set of rods and pistons, there's Wiseco, Vitara, and many more brands to look in to for low compression pistons, and 99% of people get Eagle Rods since they are the cheapest good rods.

alright so im looking for more power but enough to where im not doing a big rebeuild or anything so the eagle rods is probbly what im looking for and thanks for the help still relativly new to all this not tryin to sound like a dumbass

Yea no problem, lots of help here on this forum if you need it.

I only said the 10 psi thing because it is a common mistake TONS of people make. And once you learn the right way to put questions it'll lead to more answers of your question than people flaming you on why you are wrong (Honda-tech).

But to make 200 hp you won't need a rebuild of any sort. Friend of mine turboed his z6 that had over 200k on it and it held fine, but liek I said, once you start going over 200 you are going to want to plan on building it or else it'll go BOOM!
