new swap

ok so i used to post on here a while back
i used to have a 91 si hatch back untill i got t-boned by a buss lol
ya kno. but for now i just picked up a 94 civic hatch and get this
it is the cx version. i didnt even know honda made that ****lol
but o well heres my plans. im buying my new head swap and intake manifold
im going to go ahead and get si head and a 92-95 ex manifold with a gsr throttle body
im going to do all the normal things like gaskets and such. then im also going to go ahead and boost the
single cam with a t3/t4 turbo and run about 8lbs of boost mayby just 5-8 not sure yet.
so i was just wondering if this was a good way to go because im getting everything really cheap so.
i was wondering if there is anything else ne one can think of that i might need for this swap or any suggestions for when
im doing this also i'll post before and after vids this summer when its Complete thanx for any help guys

RE: new swap

i assume when you say si head you are talking about a z6 head. I would look for a smaller turbo more like a t25 or a t3 for the gains you are looking for i would say that the smaller turbo would be much more reliable and require less fm.
