nissan to honda swap

Wel imight get a bad welcome her but i usedto own a93 nissan primera, loved it to it'sdeath, had fun with it. The got totaled, i joined the army went to korea got back a couple of months ago and i came across a vehicle which i have always had an eye for but never took the time to learn aboujt because i was nissan primeraly. anyways, I have just bought a 1986 Honda civic CRX(i think it's an HF), 'm pretty sure it's a D15a1, It's got a carburator but it's also got over 200,000 miles on the odometer, so i figure it's time for a make over. I've looked around and i think i might be able to fit a b18c1 but i figure it will be quite pricey. so i wanna swap the original with something but i'm not sure what will fit. I'm on a bit of a budget so suggestions would be nice, or some links to the right place to help me out. Only thing i ask is if you don't have anything useful and/or nice to reply with then i suggest you just "hold your tongue".

i would look for a low milage honda carb motor - if you swap it over to fuel injection itsmore work & $$ cause you'll need to add a computer & more wiring

Wouldn't it be just getting the wiring and adding a obd 1 or 2? I need more power and the d15 isn't doing it for me maybe a d16?

find a wrecked 1992-1995 civic ex or a delsol with a d16z6 engine. Swap EVERYTHING out:-D

it'll be cheaper andwith less headachesto get a newer crx with fuel injection. if swap to fuel injection, it will ruin you for life as far as wiring goes.

everything is alot easier if you get something 88 or newer. its dpfi. thats more easier to convert than a carburated car. ive converted my 91 dpfi to mpfi. but never have i converted a carb vehicle. good luck either way.
