p29 pistons in a y8

I want to raise my c/r a little because Im getting a stage 2 Comp cam tomorrow. I was thinking to p29 pistons but I don't want to raise it to much. Would these be a good choose? I want to still be able to use stock everything and still be able to use 89 octane gas. If the p29's will raise it to high, then what's another option for me?

RE: p29 pistons in a y8

the p29 pistons out of a 87-89 teg are nice and will give you approximatly a 11.0 - 12:1 compression ratio YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO USE 89 OCTANE! not without serious detonation or retarding the cam so much you wont see the gains in your swap

there is one other option, . . . water injection ( http://www.rbracing-rsr.com/waterinjection.html )
