Default Performace=noise diff?

got my PNP head put on with the cam and the engine has a little different sound to it. just was wondering if a more mechanical sound is normal. the power through the gears sounds smoother and the VTEC transfer is smoother too. anyone else know of this or seen or heard other things? oh and i couldn't get my prelude tb install because of a problem with the TPS. anyone know how to get around this and get it installed?

A pnp head and a bigger cam will make a difference in sound. As long as it not a knocking sound or clanging from the valvetrain! Otherwise the added sound is just the higher lift and duration the valves operate at with the new cam in place.

As far as the TPS I have no clue???

could you explain the clanging on the valvetrain? it sounds like the growl of VTEC but at a lower rpm. about 4000. But my VTEC light still comes on at 5700.

No, the noise your hearing is fine. Its the result of the bigger cam profile. The valves open more and for a longer period of time. This is perfectly normal.
