Hey i just got a 97 civic ex and i was wondering what performace upgrade i should get 1st so that i can make my civic run with the big dogs...

forced induction........the only way to fly with that fairly heavy body. but it also depends........do you want to work with the engine thats in your car?

to the 1st person..no not vettes and vipers but like other civics and eclipses...and this is my 1st car so im gonna keep the same engine thats in it...and right now i have between 200-400$ to spend

uhh umm...well start with the exhaust, people like to go i/h/e....intake, header exhaust...thats what i got because im still paying for the car ;) but i like to think im fast anyways its a good start, thats for sure!

well if by big boys you mean other modded civics/eclipses you could start off with an exhaust and put a cheap turbo setup on later.
