whats in your car? and imn wondering, is there a breakin strategy for my new valvetrain and cams? ive got syntec waiting, but if i need to brreakthe parts in, thats much lube, correct?

go to the cam manufacturers site, and it should have a break-in procedure. and if you are installing it, make sure you use plenty of engine assembly lube on the cams.

oh yeah, i got me a nice large tube of assembly lube... so, i probably should run it for a 1000 or so with dino oil; then switch to syn? ill check the crane website and see what tey got to say

yup, do not use synthetic during first breakin, just use single weight crude, run the engine for 1/2 hr, not allowing the engine to go below 1500 rpm's, then change the oil out....
