ok i have a 2000 civic si b16a2 and i want to replace the clutch and i want a stage 2 clutch can any one tell me do i have to get a new flywheellike a lighter one to be able to suport it or will the stock one work please help thanks

You don't need one, all the flywhell does is spin around. The lighter the flywheel the faster it spins, but also the lighter the flywheel the less inertia it has. So going uphills, or if your cars under a load (bunch of people, lot of groceries) would reduce the power. Unless you have a built motor or running boost wont do much more than rev your car up quicker, and launch better on straightaways.

It would be a good addition if you are running boost or built motor, especially for the track.

what a lot of people do is get there stock flywheel resurfaced befor adding a new clutch and/or pressure plate. This is crucial for the life of your clutch, overtime the surface gets a little warped from heat expansion and cold compression. Only costs like $25 to do.
