Okay ik i had a very dumb moment but let me explain
i had bought a 97 civic lx mini me with hx heads and ex intake manifold also had been remanufactured engine according to private seller so if true like what part do i buy like i just want a bit of clarity

 

umm what? your extremely vague question of "what part do i buy" makes no sense. If you are looking for as a year, make, model to tell the parts guy at pep boys, it would depend on what part you need to replace since it sounds like you have some frankenstein assembled engine

 

You only have one head. Not plural.

 

ive got your clarity here, legit did the same exact thing a few months ago and have been learning so much the hard way so here is what i know

my setup is as follows
block-d16y7
head-d16z6
intake mani-d16y8
Sub model-lx
k&n air filter
rs type exhaust

so in my case if i need anything from head (d16yz6)down i get parts for a d16y7 like oil filter anything below your exhaust mani

so spark plugs and wires along with dizzy,cams, valves and springs, and Vtec solo parts would be d16z6 (the head)

and basically anything connected to intake manifold will be for d16y8 like icav map sensor maf sensor throttle position sensor

i am unsure about vacuum hoses and honestly ive not replaced some things i listed but makes sense the way i look at it

now as for going to like a shop and they ask you what engine you have just say the series you need the part for

if im wrong please correct me
