Is there a DOHC head that can go on the y8 block? A friend of mine was sayingthat a b16 headwould work but im highly doubting that. wondering???

d series heads will only fit d series blocks
b series heads will only fit b series blocks

if im wrong someone please correct me

You are correct but there is a DOHC ZC D series head that will fit. It is pointless though as there are no aftermarket cams or anything for it.

dohc zc head will fit with some machining or lack of one headbolt. it has been done on h-t on a d15 bottom end, not worth the trouble. as far as cams are concerned crespo( link ) offers them as well as nippon racing.
