Default Possible H22

Hi guys I'm not sure if this is the right location for this post but its too late now lol.

I recently was given the opportunity to buy an h22. I believe its from a prelude, and its got around 110k on it. Its in running condition, and comes as a complete engine (not in pieces). Although its not coming with a tranny or wiring harness, its just the engine.

I digress: anyway I can get it for around $600+-. I know its a good deal, but is it worth it. I would just rebuild it then swap/sell it.

Let me know your opinion.

Yeah thats what I was thinking, but it might be too good to be true. I don't know the seller, and I'm just taking his word that it runs. Although the head alone is probably worth 400 buck lol. I'll try to pounce on it, but if I get it I most likely won't swap it into my civic. I'll just give it a nice build then sell it.

Although is it even possible to put forged pistons in an h22 without sleeving it? If not I'll do an oem rebuild, just because I want to build an engine.lol

Hey trust I looked at your CarDomain. Jesus H. Christ your car is CLEAN! I wish mine looked that good, and its the same year with terrible rust. How did you keep the rust monsters away?

thanks

it doesn't snow in FL, so no road salt
that's the main reason for little to no rust. I have a little surface rust on my seat brackets, and the rear fender lips, but only a tiny bit

also, my paint isn't factory, the guy before me had it painted black, the original color is blue, so that helps it look better
