RE: power gain?

Stage one would give you some power, maybe 8hp. They advertize 12 I think but you never get what they advertize on any kind of aftermarket part.

The nice thing about the stage one is you get a gain across the board and it's about half the cost of the next stage up because you don't have to get springs and retainers.

if your after a little more power that the stg1 will give you then go for it. if you want more power then save up and go with a stg 2. hell you could go pm7 pistons and a stg3 after flycutting the pistons.........this would make for a nice very fun street motor.

If you're looking for a nice gain without dumping a wad of cash, then yes. A cam actually has a pretty good $/HP ratio.

a stg3 will make your car idle like hell. it would be tough to street one. i'd save up for stg2 if i were you. big cam without loosing streetability.

If you get a stg 1. could you get the springs and retainers as well or would this be deemed expensive and unnecesary for a street vehicle?
