Default PROBLEMS

I HAVE A 89 EF I DID THE SI SWAP FROM THE DX LIKE I WAS TOLD FROM ANOTHER TECH BUDDY OF MINE AND NOW MY CAR WONT IDLE CORRECTLY AND WANTS TO DIE WHEN YOU DONT PRESS THE GAS AND GET IT UP ABOUT 2000 RPMS I NEED HELP I CHECKED MY WIRING AND ALL MY SENSORS IT WAS RUNNING JUST FINE B4 THE SWAP PLS HELP

make sure you didn't get the MAP and TPS sensors mixed up.

check your timing.

I have already checked my wiring schematics and dont have a new direction to chase. When I looked at my fuel pressure it was 72 psi so i put a new pressure regulator on it and made sure my fmu wasnt blocked . but no matter what i do it seems to run bad. so now i have 40 psi fuel pressure and still have problems. thanks for the reply

another possibility is the throttle position sensor
its a small chance that it messed up at the same time as the swap

I found my problem the egr valve is stuck open giving me a permanent vacuum leak. thanks for the reply guys and all i had to do was adjust my fuel pressure to compensate and make my stoichiometric air mixture correct.
