question

I want to leave the heat shield on the header off is there anything I need to do i.e. heat wrap hoses etc. This is a 1990 Civic LX 1.5 ltr.

RE: question

RE: question

leave it on.. it keeps some of that hot exaust air away from your intake.. it may not be pretty, but ie serves a purpose... if you do take it off, then just make sure any rubber hoses or wires are AWAY from that heat, cause it will F*** them up

RE: question

^ Yeah, I'd just leave it on. It's there for a reason.
