he's asking if its good to boost an LS/vtec set up. i think.

the answer is yes ls vtec setups are good to boost IMO. the reason they make more horsepower N/A is because you have the entire rev range of the b16 head and you have the displacement of the b18. plus the b16 head flows really good.

so the answer to your question is yes you can boost an LS/Vtec

b20 blocks are thin. most people i know wouldn't really boost a b20 block unless you know what you're doing. i'e herd a lot of stories where the rod popped out of the block from boost.

the blocks arent thin. the rod bolts are the weak point in that engine. i wouldnt be doin anything like 15 psi on it..

throw a set of arp bolts and head studs and boost it. the worst you can do is pop an engine. i know i can find b20's pretty cheap and it dosent take long to swap out another one. jus get TUNING thats the best way to keep an engine from detonateing. detonation=bad lol

WHEN THATS DONE WHAT ARE THE ADVANGE AND DISADVANGE OF THAT COMNINATION?
IS IT A GOOD IDEA 3 BOOST IT?
WHAT THINGS I HAVE 2 WATCH 4 IF I BOOST?
I ASK THIS QUESTION CUZ IM ABOUT 2 BUY B20 JDM MOTOR AND I HEARD ITS GOOD COMINATION ON GAS BUT NO ONE HAVE BOOST THAT COMBO IN MICHIGAN AREA IF ITS BAD THEN I MIGHT AS WELL BOOST ON THE B16 MOTOR THANKS 4 THE HELP AND ADVICES
