question on what to buy

Default question on what to buy

i am going to buy a jdm d15b motor for my ef, and i was wondering, when ordering parts, i.e. headers, exhaust, mani, etc. what engine do i use? cause i want some dc headers and you have to go by year then make then model then engine, and i dont know what year or what ever that engine came out of. could someone help me?

buy stuff for a d16z6 and it will work fine until and if you break into the bottom end.

ok cool, im not really going to do anything to the internals so yeah, im just gonna make wanna fast street motor, so headers, turbo, mani, exhaust, ya know the usual. thanks marty

Usually header just refers to naturally aspirated exhaust manifolds. For turbo applications the term is "turbo manifold."

Hence why I said "usually." If you search on ebay right now for "civic turbo header" you'll recieve 15 results, while if you search "civic turbo manifold" you'll recieve 261 results including all 15 from the "header" search.

ok so since i am going to go turbo, i shouldn't go out and get a dc sports header? or is that good enough for turbo?
