I am about to get a z6 head and do a mini-me swap. My question is the kid I might buy it from is saying tha z6 heads don't have a v-tec solinoid like the other vtec heads have. Is this true I just dont want to get ripped off.

 

they do have one. its on the back of the head right next to the intake manifold. it looks just like any other vtec solenoid. if you are getting a head that doesnt have one you either need to get one to put on there or it isnt a vtec head
