quick valve cover question
 

hey i was wondering a b18 valve covers are ls and the gsr but people say it is a type r can i call it a gsr valve cover or a type r? lol i have a d15b2:confused::eek::o:D

Ls and Vtec valve covers are different. All DOHC Vtec valve covers are interchangeable. Type R is always red. GSR and B16 are black, they come any different styles and different lettering size and placement depending on year and JDM/USDM. I just got mine it is from a it is from a 92 GSR, only 2500 where ever made. But it is the same as a 99-00 Si and 92-95 Del Sol Vtec valve cover. 92-95 and 96-00 D series valve covers are interchangeable. Many 96-00 Ex owners want a 92-95 Ex valve cover because it has Vtec on it.

so the b18 cover the one that is the opposite to the type r is called a ls but also a gsr. thats different from the type r?
