radiator fan

Default radiator fan

correct me if i'm wrong but isn't the radiator fan supposed to keep running while motor is running mine quit and i checked the fuse and it's ok i do know the guys that put the motor back together didn't tighten the cooling fan for a/c so i have to tighten it up any ideas

It doesn't always run. It should have a temperature switch that cycles it on and off.

At least that's how every vehicle I've ever seen is...

Get the engine good and warm then see what happens. If you're not seeing high coolant temps then it's probably working.

corect, the fan is switched on by a sensor in the block. but if its not running at all, they probably didnt plug the fan in, or possibly the sensor,, check for a cel code.
