rebuid help engine wont start
 

i took out my sis d15 cause it had a thrown rod and gave her my d15. rebuilt everything, put it in and now the check engine light dosent come on. i tryed to start it but all it does is turn. i have changed the timeing like 100 times. i kno the ecu works cause ive seen it turn on. what would cause this. bad distributor, bad wiring ? im lost cause i havent touched the ecu or the internal wiring or the engine wiring. all fuses are good too plzzz help

My first guess would be spark. Check all your grounds, all your connections, make sure the dizzy is connected and then check for spark.

you gotta give us more info, check what ur engine isnt getting, check for spark and for fuel, then tell us what its lacking

okay i checkd for spark and im getting that. but jus in case i jus changed the rotor and dizzy cap. all grounds are good. umm i assume that the gas was sitting in the tank for about a year before i got the car. it was on E so i put in like half tank then put in one of those solution things if theres water. ive got it to start for three seconds and thats cause my foot was flooring the pedal and as soon as i let it go it bogged out.

ok so the pump is working..? can you hear it hummm when you turn the key on for 3 secs?

yea i can hear the fuel pump. but thats the thing my cel light doesnt come on at all. i tryed switching ecus still nothing.

pull the cluster out and check the bulb, somebody may have removed the cel bulb to hide the cel.

i dought it but ill try it cause its a 92 completely stock 4dr with only 99xxx miles.

well something is wrong with the cel cause its supposed to come on for 2 secs when you first turn the key on and the fuel pump humms.
