wait, redlining it, or hitting the rev limiter? if youre shifting at redline, your fine, but if you are going past that, its not good for your motor in the long run, and will eventually claim your motor.

Isn't the revlimiter on most Honda's(that normal people drive, not like your GSR) at 7200, and redline is at 7000?

You'll be fine just dont do it day in and out. You motor is built as far as can durationa and valve size and valve springs built to last much higher R's than that thay put the redline there for a safety precausion and the rev limiter a bit highter to keep you from over reving it. Yes i do agree you dont want to do it very often or it will hurt your motor in the long run. Good luck.
