Whatever you want to put it on. Probably something round.
How do these "function"? LOL They are purely cosmetic. They are basically the wrist bands worn in like the 80s. A buddy of mine in the Army sent me a few and I used them as reservoir covers. Attachment 6172 |
those are pretty cool, i heard they stop fluids from leaking but mine dont leak lol, they are cosmetic, where do u think from my pic in my signature should i put my other one on? i have 1 on my brake booster now.? i have it just sitting and i dont know where to put it, 91 civics had cable trannies right? so no clutch resevoir?

Yes you are correct. No reservoir on a cable trans.
The only place I can see would be on the windshield washer fluid reservoir. Also, the brake system sees a sh!t ton of pressure when you apply the brakes. If there was a leak in the reservoir, a sock wouldn't help. lol |
hahahaha a sock lol so just put it on the blue cap washer bottle? what about the black cylinder thing in the top left corner of my engine bay
|
I believe that is your windshield wiper motor. You can put a sock on that I guess. It really doesn't matter where you put them. It isn't going to change anything but appearance.

yeah thats what i did, at first i used it as a shift boot lol, but yeah it looks good now, i just hope that when i get my tranny fluid changed the shifting will feel smoother and put me at ease
