rods and pistons
hey guys someone told me i needed to have my rods and pistons press fitted together is that true or can you just put them together?

If they are stock pistons and rods, Yes thay need to be pressed
If they are aftermarket thay have a flouting pin and you can do it your self. |

those seem to be aftermarket, so you should just be able to use the pin

try and slide the wrist pin through the piston and into the rod, if it doesnt slid in then take them to a matchin shop and have them pressed in.

thoes are fully floating pins, so u can put them together ur self, all u need is a clip ring compressor

there should be a little indent that you put half the clip in on the oppisite side were its suppost to be and just push the clip in were the indent is with like a punch by hand or like a flat tip screw driver.
