I've used both royal purple and mobil 1 in my subaru and royal purple is better, it really did give it some pull. I haven't tried it in the civic yet but next tune up I will (I just bought it). I love royal purple, i've been using itsince i had my 03 wrx. Neverusedanother oil, othan than to try mobil 1 which didn't show for me.

Royal Purple is the sheit. I use to use it...but i went back to Castrol GTX sludge protection b/c really there seriously is no use in running expensive *** oil on a motor that has 100K plus miles on it. I would only run the more expensive stuff on a newermotor like: Royal Purple, Moble 1 etc. but thats just me.

and yes purple oil is awsome!

It's all about choice and opinion, if that's what you want and think, I respect it. Respect the ones that want to spend the extra also.
