The other day i came the the thought that my '00 ex doesnt have a RPM govenor(sp?)...can some one tell me if i am wrong because i always though it was susposed to stop you from going over 7k rpm's. but mine went to 7.5k for a second.

 

It does have a governor, I have revved mine that high before but I assure you at WOT in fifth gear at 118 miles an hour, you will stop going faster!!! It sucks and scared the **** out of me the first time it happened so don't be fooled by that little over rev. I thibnk the 'puter just got a little behind on the go pedal for a second and thats about all (unless someone chipped that thing for you already!!!)
