If at this point in time i would like to keep my car n/a what would the single best mod be. Now i am only 17 so an engine swap is out for right now and i have i/h/e and an upper strut. So i guess what im asking is what would be the best mod for me that will make the biggest hp gain while staying on somewhat of a budget?

For you, since you have a DX, I'd say the best mod you could do now is go for a mini me with a D16y8 head. Since this will be much cheaper than a regular engine swap. There is a right up on it in the DIY forum, and I believe an approx cost is in there aswell.
